Wall Street declines amid Ukraine tensions
FXStreet (San Francisco) - US stocks market attempted to recover from early losses but major indexes weren't able to do the whole come back and Wall Street finished Thursday with negative numbers.
The S&P and the Dow posted its second daily lost in the last 9 sessions as investors are worried about Ukraine crisis and despite upbeat US GDP numbers. However, according to the experts, US data contained a major decline.
The Dow Jones lost 42.44 pts or 0.25% to finish at 17,079.57; The S&P 500 declined 3.38 pts or 0.17% to 1,996.74; while the Nasdaq closed at 4,557.69 following a 11.93 pts or 0.26% drop.
