Germany: Annual GDP expands more than expected in Q2
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - On an annual basis German GDP n.s.a. rose 0.9% in Q2, compared with the a 1.6% drop registered the previous quarter, according to preliminary data released today by Destatis. Analysts expected 0.3% growth.
Year-over-year GDP w.d.a. Increased 0.5% in Q2, compared with the 0.3% decline in Q1.
On a quarterly basis Q2 GDP s.a. edged up 0.7%, after remaining flat in Q1, almost in line with consensus of climbing 0.6%.
