‘There are still a lot of days in the week in which decisions can be taken’ – warns Merkel

FXStreet (Mumbai) - Amid a dozens of Greece headlines, German Chancellor Angela Merkel was also quoted saying on Monday that it might take a few more days to reach a Greek agreement.

Speaking to reporters ahead of Monday's crucial euro zone leaders’ summit, Merkel warned that EU leaders can’t take any decisions at the emergency summit on Monday night unless they have a decision from Greece’s creditors.

"There are still a lot of days in the week in which decisions can be taken," the chancellor told reporters.
